This Summer we are offering two 3 day blocks of Summer Special classes in  pottery and in painting and drawing and two single days for print-making.

The team have excelled themselves in putting together 18 venues and approaching 50 exhibitors.

Here at Seymour Road Studios we will be showing:

Exhibition and meet the artist - wonderful glass work by Anna French of Fizgig glass and of Craft in the City

Exhibition - selected work by some of our painting, drawing and print-making students

Demo and chat - pottery students will be working in the workshop and will be ready to chat to you about some of the techniques they have learned

Drop in taster workshop - I will be running a drop-in have-a-go simple print-making workshop for anyone who fancies it!

STOP PRESS - on Saturday DON’T MISS the Amazing Live HUMAN JUKEBOX created by Rod in collaboration with Poppy Folk Club specially for this event!  You will be amazed and delighted by this wonderful creation with musical input provided through the Poppy Folk Club throughout Saturday

(NB….  so far this is a Saturday only event, but if possible we are hoping to have it active in one form or another on Sunday too … any musicians, buskers, singers who would like to donate an hour or two of time on Sunday, please get in touch to learn more and discuss possibilities).

Look out for the Poppy Folk Club‘s special 1st birthday activities on Sunday 20th at the Poppy and Pint.

Warning!  Parking may be difficult so if you at all possible please try to come on foot, bike or bus (all very easy for locals) to save the parking for those who need it most.  If you need to bring a car, please park with the utmost consideration for residents.  Thank you.

The next guest night at the club will be a extra bonus night on Friday January 20th where we’ll be treated to The Young’Uns

Lady Bay open gardens will take place this year on May 21-22 opening from 2-6pm each day.

The garden trail starts from 164 Trent Boulevard which is on the No 11 Bus Route.

There will be gardens, fruit and veg,  plant sales, refreshments, kids’ stuff, entertainment, activities and competitions.
