SATURDAY CLASSES
These relaxed project-based one-day pottery and print-making classes generally run from 10am-4pm  (inc lunch  break).  The emphasis is very much on learning through pleasure, as well as on productivity, of course.

PRICE: £50 per person (all basic materials and processes included except where specified)  - or for the perfect present for someone special you can buy a gift voucher for a place on one of our courses – contact us to find out more!

P O T T E R Y ~ one day Saturday classes for the coming months

SORRY – our Spring term Pottery one day classes have now all passed and our Autumn programme is still under development.

24th March:  Eggs etcetera! – Spring and Easter themed decorative pinch pots.
21st April:  Simply Sculptural Terracotta –  using slab-building techniques to create some fun sculptural forms in unglazed terracotta.

NB bisc firing is included in the price.  If required, glazing & glost firing may be arranged at extra cost.


P R I N T – M A K I N G ~ one day Saturday classes for the coming months

10th March:  Spring into Print – colourful combined monoprint and relief collograph for Mothers’ Day, for Easter or just for fun.
5th May:  Intaglio Collograph Day: a lovely graphic technique which makes it easy to work quite directly from  photos, drawings or other images you may choose to bring with you.

We also provide tailor made group and individual art workshops for a wide variety of events and client groups.  Please contact us to chat about what you have in mind.

Further Information:

  • Saturday classes run from 10am – 4pm with a one hour break for lunch.  You may like to bring a packed lunch or pick up a bite to eat at one of Lady Bay’s eateries.  Tea, coffee and biscuits are provided.
  • Our studios are in a relaxed and friendly home studio environment, but the domestic setting may mean that facilities do not meet the needs of all – please see our Studio Practicalities for more information and do contact us if you have any questions.
  • We welcome adults and young people (aged 16+ or young people aged 12+ if accompanied by a participating adult) to enjoy our art classes in a relaxed and friendly home studio environment.
  • Suitable for all abilities from beginners up.   All classes are structured primarily for the introductory level but our small class sizes allow us also to nurture and support the individual needs of students working at a higher level.
  • Basic materials and processes are included in the price but additional charges may be made for particular material and processing costs (see class details for more information where applicable).
